Hiking, Biking, Cross Country Skiing, Runs: We are a 6-minute drive from the Kettle Moraine State Park where you can hike, bike, and cross country ski, depending on the season. There are also various races, marathons, triathlons and mega marathons (yes mega and I'm talking 50 and 100 miles), throughout the year. In fact, there is a 100 mile endurance run over a weekend in June...because that is how long it takes to run this race! Historic Tour: Old World Wisconsin/ (10 minutes away)—It is really very interesting—they have homesteads from the various groups of people who settled in Wisconsin, a blacksmith, general store, a farm and activities throughout the year, including a wine and food festival with wineries from around the state showcasing their products. Swimming Pool: Right here on the premises. It is indoor and heated to between 84-88 degrees. You can listen to satellite radio or your IPod while you swim, and we have water toys...it doesn't get much better than that.
